What it does
Add Wavefront to ChatGPT as a custom connector and ask for work in a chat: talk to the strategist, draft articles and social posts, read search performance, and publish versions a person already approved.
ChatGPT signs in to Wavefront with OAuth, and your workspace role still applies. It can approve only if you checked Approve content when connecting it.
Before you start
- ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu, with developer mode on
- A Wavefront account in a workspace with a plan or trial
How to connect ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on developer mode.
- Under Apps & Connectors, choose Create, name it Wavefront, enter https://wavefront.adwave.com/mcp and choose OAuth.
- On the Wavefront consent page, sign in, keep the requested access and choose Allow.
- In a chat, add Wavefront from the tools menu and ask it to list your workspaces.
What it covers
- Talk to the strategist, edit and save plans, and draft calendar posts
- Start articles, copy and images, answer their questions and request revisions
- Read documents, versions, comments, the calendar, search performance and site metrics
- Publish or schedule approved versions to destinations that allow agents
Good to know
- It approves a version only as an owner or editor, and never one with blockers.
- Agents can't post to social networks, send newsletters or withdraw a publication.
- The connection lasts 30 days, then ChatGPT asks you to authorize again.
